The line launched with roughly 70 fragrances, a number that reflects the founder's genuine enthusiasm for scent rather than a simple market calculation.

The current lineup keeps about 10 to 15 bestsellers available year-round, with a rotating selection of 15 to 20 scents for spring and summer and another 15 to 20 for fall and winter. Apple Orchard is a household favorite, and Brandied Pear earns high marks from the younger members of the family. As the founder puts it, sometimes you just only want vanilla.

Every candle is poured by hand in the founder's dining room. Beyond the clean materials, she describes a deliberate practice of praying over each batch, with intentions of peace, comfort, and love for whoever will eventually burn it. The hope, she says, is that people who feel alone or uncared for might feel that care when they light a candle.

Eugene has been a natural fit. The business operates just minutes from everything in town, and the location next to the Delta Ponds brings a steady connection to wildlife and open water, turtles included. That proximity to nature, the founder says, opens the whole household up to something pretty awesome.
