Fitti's Pizza Brings Detroit-Style Dough to West Eugene
A family-run operation out of a shared kitchen is putting Pacific Northwest flavor into a classic Midwest pizza tradition.

Fitti's Pizza is a Detroit-inspired pizza operation running out of a shared kitchen in West Eugene. The concept grew from a love of cooking that the owners say they have carried for a long time, and turning that passion into a working business has been, in their words, very fun and very fulfilling so far.
The Dough Is the Foundation
What sets Fitti's apart starts before any toppings are applied. The dough is made in the style of a French baguette and goes through a three-day cold ferment, a process the team considers the foundation of everything they make. The thinking is straightforward: put good work into the base, and quality ingredients on top will translate.

A Family Affair
The business is co-owned by brothers, with other family members, including a daughter and a partner, helping run things on the weekends. That mix of close relationships and shared ambition is central to what Fitti's is. Coming in with family to do something they have talked about for a long time is, by their own account, the point.
Settling Into Lane County
The family behind Fitti's is Eugene-Springfield born and raised, and they recently moved to the College Hill neighborhood. What draws them to it is the visible forest, the walkability, and a sense of community, as well as the mid-century architecture and the history woven into the area. Lane County is not a new place for them, it is home.
